Concord Spaces' project in Lohegaon, Concord Pushpak is the first project outside PMC limits (fringe areas) to get the provisional 4 star 'Eco-Housing' certification. No tax benefits are offered to Eco-Housing certified projects in fringe areas, nonetheless, the developer is committed to making all projects 'Eco-friendly'. The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) along with Science And Technology Park, University of Pune has devised the 'Eco-Housing' certification program. The program promotes the adoption of environmentally friendly practices, energy efficient products and techniques by the construction industry. PMC has offered benefits for developers and customers of Eco-Housing certified projects
